The First Run Café is the daytime ego of the Last Run Bar, Restaurant and Physiotherapy Clinic, serving Mt Coffee and Harrietville Bakery products on Mt Hotham.
With soaring glass windows, intimate spaces, live entertainment and mouth wateringly good food there's something for every single taste bud on the mountain.
Being ski-in, ski-out rest your weary legs and enjoy a warming mug of coffee while taking in the incredible views.
Being Mt Hotham’s first on-mountain Cafe, Bar, Restaurant and Physiotherapy Clinic this truly is a one stop shop offering more than just awesome food and drinks. Owner and resident physiotherapist of Mt Hotham for the past 15 years, Henry Wajswelner, has created a space like no other where you can ski in to have a coffee, sports treatment/massage and then relax with a cocktail and a bite to eat all in the one place.
For some precious ‘me’ time why not bring a book, to compliment your mood and the coffee that so expertly celebrates this mountainous region. Even if you spend a whole day on the deck sipping flat whites while drinking in the view, then you’ve had a day well spent.
Located just above the Corral Car Park and part of Mt Hotham’s Lawlers Apartment complex, First Run Café has you covered for breakfast, lunch and sneaky afternoon grazing. With a wonderful selection of Harrietville Bakery pies, pasties, sausage rolls and quiches you are literally spoilt for choice.
Any time of day is the right time for a coffee made from locally roasted Mt Coffee beans and when is it ever too early for an expresso martini from the Last Run Bar, asked no one, ever.
